Happy New Year...2013!

Today is the first day of the first month of the beginning of the year 2013. Every year we celebrate New Year in this bone chilling cold of winter season. Sometimes we can't take home a lot from the previous year's events as sometimes it’s not like a smooth sailing ship but a struggling ship trailing its way through a fierce storm.

The year 2012 seemed a lot similar to the latter one. There are many facts that lead to this conclusion. For example to support this I would like to quote the death of some of the biggest stars of Bollywood like Rajesh Khanna, Yash Chopra etc..., also the killing of great business tycoon Ponty Chaddha along with his brother.

The worst part was the end of the year which surely ended with tears in everybody's eyes that was a result of death of a brave heart.  It also included the whacky rumor of all time. Yes, you guessed it right! Overall, the year ended with lots of turmoil in all the aspects whether it is related to industrial growth or to the financial sector. The New Year celebrations were also cancelled for the justice of victim of the brutal gang rape which is none less than a gaffe in the history of mankind.

The year brought in many new twists and turns in my life also. At some point in time, it brought a smile on my face but most of the times it lead me to suffer. I was also operated for urethral calculus which was nothing less than a nightmarish dream for me. The pain itself said it all! For five months, I was switching from allopathic medication to homeopathic medication to Ayurvedic medication but at the end, surgery was the only solution which followed by severe infection et al.

This year ended with a hope that the problems will be ending in the coming year, with an expectation that this year, 2013, might seem promising. As far as the new year is concerned, I have made a promise to myself that I will try to keep away from all the things which might affect my health, aim for better growth, learn something exciting which suits my temperament, discard all the things from my schedule which seems to be a burden rather than imbibing any learning etcetera. Moreover, to pray for the Brave one to rest in peace with a promise to her that she will surely get justice.

This might seem to be normal resolutions that everybody makes at the beginning of the year, forgetting it after a week or month at the maximum but this is something which I don't make every year. This is actually the first time that I am making any resolution.

With the conclusion, I hope that this New Year, 2013 brings lot of opportunities, happiness, moreover peace in everyone's life so that this year sails smoothly for all. With this aim in mind, I would also like all of us to preach happiness, peace, spread love around us all so we all get the same thing in return. Remember, the bad times or good times never stay at the same place for long! They change and believe me; this change is always for the good, the good of all of us. Realization for this change is acknowledged later in life.

With this, I complete a century aka 100 posts of my blogging tenure achieving a milestone. Thanks to the support of all my readers without the help of whom this might not have been possible. There is one more surprise packed for you all which will be announced shortly.

Wish you all a very happy new year 2013.

Cheers!

The Best Laid Plans by Sidney Sheldon - a review

The Best Laid Plans by Sidney Sheldon Title :- BEST LAID PLANS Author :- Sidney Sheldon Number of Pages :- 344 Publisher :- Harper Collins Genre :- Suspense/Thriller My Verdict:-  I came across this book while browsing Sidney Sheldon's books. The one great thing about the author I like the most is that he plans and implement the plot very cleverly. He knows how to pull the readers attention and he is very much successful in building up the suspense throughout the storyline. This book is about jealousy, anger, ego revenge and all sorts of similar emotions you can think of. The plot is extremely well executed and Sidney Sheldon knows well when to open up the mystery. The conspiracy theory he brings in in this book is pretty much attention grabbing which will lead you to crave for more. It is about two characters primarily, Leslie Stewart who is a beautiful PR executive who learns through her experience that power is all she needed for the revenge. Oliver Russe...

I Have Waited Enough

Walking away Past the shadows Waiting for my time You suddenly turned up All the times of pleasure Took over the pain Those unforgettable innocent eyes And that cute smile... I have waited enough You don't get it I guess you never will And it was a beautiful night The time when we kissed And stayed together Hand in hand, our love bloomed Oh, I loved every bit of it, I still do! We hit the sidewalk Walking past the insinuations And the implications Only to lose it all... I have waited enough You don't get it I guess you never will And it was a beautiful night...
